Lovely post. I keep thinking I should try to sew more...or at all since I haven't for months and months and months. I love the embroidery you have done. Seems that stitching could be a way of grounding one's self. Glad you are getting settled.

Thank you Liz. Yes sewing, embroidery, meditative, even if it is softporn. :)

All I can say is you would have just seen my eyes pop out of my head if you were here with me.

My eyes popped.

My mind went 'Oh my God it is Ken.'

My mind went 'Oh my God, yahoo. He's back.'

My mind went 'Oh my God, I love Ken, thank God he's back.'

Okay, now I will go look at your post.

Oh i am happy for this new post. I was looking forward to a new post. And such a sensual, warm post. So that makes it possible to stay patient for the upcoming post. ;-)
It's always a pleasure to see you around the blogosphere Ken. I'm enjoying the coming winter and if it's really cold that's a good excuse to stay longer in a warm bed en doing what your lovely embroidery suggests.
Sweet greetz for you and your lovely family........

Fantastic work! I'm so glad to have found your amazing blog via your comment on Manon's. This embroidery is expressive and edgy, and the piece about Mexico is absolutely stunning on so many levels--I hardly have the words to express the impact of the words, photos, and images. Your creativity and communication of deeply human qualities are a gift to all of us.

Thank you so much Pierre. I look forward to looking at your new work.

I am feeling unsettled, I think I need to build a fort, both a physical
one and an inner fortress. The embroidery is edge-y, hahaha, soft porn, funny. i need to laugh more today. today is hard. forts look like good ideas. earthy and childlike and cocoon-y.
i think you would fit in with Maori people bro.
glad ur settled.

Nice of you to come by ahipara girl. :)
The words on your blog caught me; "There's admirable strength in graciousness."
Beautiful words you wrote.
Thank you
